Rep. Blais to start ‘100 days, 100 miles listening tour’

BOSTON — State Rep. Natalie M. Blais, D-Sunderland, will take to the road on a 100-mile district listening tour to celebrate her first 100 days in office.

Blais invites the public to meet with her Saturday, April 13 at one of eight locations across the 1st Franklin District to share their concerns.

“I am interested in hearing directly from constituents to ensure that the legislation I have co-sponsored and sponsored in my first 100 days accurately reflects the areas of concern that are top of mind for residents of the 1st Franklin District,” explained Blais.

Blais will be at the following locations on Saturday:

8:45-9:45 a.m.: Leverett Co-Op, 180 Rattlesnake Gutter Road, Leverett.

10-11 a.m.: Shutesbury Public Library, 10 Cooleyville Road, Shutesbury.

Noon –12:30 p.m. – Cummington Community House, 33 Main St, Cummington.

1–1:45 p.m. – Comfort Café, 4 Main St, Huntington.

2:15-3 p.m. – Goshen Public Library, 42 Main St, Goshen

3:30–4:30 p.m. – Floodwater Brewing Co, 40 State St, Shelburne Falls.

5:30-6:30 p.m. – Ashfield Lake House, 141 Buckland Road, Ashfield.

7 p.m. – Double Edge Theater, performance of “Leonora & Alejandro:La Maga y el Maestro,” 948 Conway Road, Ashfield. Tickets available at: https://doubleedgetheatre.org/tickets

Blais has also announced the following official office hours and community coffee hours:

Monday, April 15, 8:15 –9:15 a.m., coffee hour, Bread Euphoria, 206 Main Street, Haydenville.

Thursday, April 18, 1–6 p.m. office hours, Hilltown CDC, 387 Main Road, Chesterfield.

Monday, April 29, 8:30-9:30 a.m., coffee hour at Hunt + Hart Café and Bakery, 22 E Main St, Huntington; 1-6:30 p.m., office hours in the Montague Office, Montague Town Hall, 1 Avenue A, Turners Falls.
