WARWICK — The Warwick Fire Department will be hosting its Annual Chicken BBQ Saturday, 1 to 2 p.m.

The event will take place at the Warwick Fire Department on Orange Road. The barbecue is an opportunity for the townsfolk to get together and enjoy a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

“It’s a town get-together,” said Deputy Chief Roland Weld. “We’re getting close to going on 10 years now.”

Attendance is usually pretty high with approximately 150 people taking part each year. This year, the money raised will go toward funding the ongoing construction of the new Warwick fire station.

This year the Fire Department will be serving chicken, corn on the cob, potatoes and watermelon. Tickets are going for $12. To reserve tickets, call (978) 544-5427, or get your tickets at the door.
