Judge David RossOrange, April 23

James O. Sanchez, 27, of Conway Street, Greenfield. Charged with assault and battery on family/household member. First appearance at trial found defendant not held but event resolved. Plead guilty and received 10 months in the Franklin County House of Corrections, concurrent with sentence serving, credit any time served.

Roger F. Taylor, 42, of Webber Road, Whately. Charged with OUI-drugs second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, heroin possession, marked lanes violation and tampering with ignition interlock. Count 1 found the defendant Nolle Prosequi. Taylor plead guilty to counts 2 and 3. He was found not responsible for count 4 and count 5 was dismissed at the request of the commonwealth. Placed on probation until April 20, with special conditions to remain drug and alcohol free with screens and undergo substance abuse and evaluation treatment as recommended.

Eric E. Nye, 28, of West River Street, Orange. Charged with assault and battery and strangulation or suffocation. Arraigned and held, released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 20.

Ryan J. Lussier, 22, of Juniper Hill Road, Ware. Charged with possession of a firearm without FID, possession of ammunition without FID, failure to stop/yield, improper operation of motor vehicle and speeding rate of speed exceeding posted limit. Defendant plead guilty to counts 1,2 and 7 and was found not responsible for counts 3, 4, 5 and count 6 was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. Lussier is placed on probation until April 20, 2020 with special conditions to undergo mental health evaluation and treatments as recommended and to obtain a drivers license.

Jennifer L. Lopez, 33, of Morse Place, Athol. Charged with resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer and assault. Arraigned and held, $500 cash bail posted. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 7.

Paul J. Mason, 58, of School Street, Athol. Charged with shoplifting by asportation. Arraigned and held, released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 20.

Thomas R. Patient, 25, of Petersham Road, Athol. Charged with OUI-liquor, failure to drive in the right lane, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Arraigned and held, released on personal recognizance with special conditions. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 17.

Judge Laurie MacleaodOrange, April 17

Marion Escobales, 21, of South Shore Road, Westminster. Charged with assault and battery on police officer, disturbing the peace, assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Admission to sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until April 17, 2020 with special conditions to be drug and alcohol free with screenings and undergo substance abuse and mental health evalution and treatment as recommended.

Michelle M. Favreau, 47, of Concord Street, Athol. Charged with larceny of a motor vehicle. Arraigned and held, released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 21.

Mendy M. Urena-Pascual, 22, of Hilldale Avenue, Haverhill. Charged with improper storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a FID card, possession of ammunition without FID card, speeding rate of speed exceeding posted limit and possession of open container of alcohol. Arraigned and held, released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 21.

Gregory P. Kieffer, 25, of Eastern Avenue, Manchester, NH. Charged with OUI-liquor, OUI-drugs, motor vehicle lights violation and speeding in violation of special regulations. Arraigned and held, released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 21.

Hayden M. Manson, 24, of Orange Road, Warwick. Charged with OUI-liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, class b drug possession and OUI-drugs. Arraigned and held, released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 31.
