Labyrinth Walk focuses on coping with illness: Sunday

GREENFIELD — Most of us have had or are dealing with an illness. Sometimes we just grin and bear it, howl, or follow directions from our medical team. Another way is to walk a labyrinth for peace and directions. Join us, in good health or not, on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. to walk our large canvas labyrinth in candlelight and soft music with a time of reflection. We are in the parish hall of St. James & Andrea at 8 Church St.

Arts & Activism program set for Sunday

BERNARDSTON — On Sunday, Nov. 25, the Arts & Activism program of Bernardston Unitarian Meetinghouse, 49 Church St., will present two award-winning films: “This is Home: A Refugee Story” screening at 11 a.m., and “Which Way Home,” screening at 1 p.m. Free will donations. All Souls welcomes Andrew Baker as speaker Sunday

GREENFIELD — This Sunday, Nov. 25, at 10:30 a.m., All Sols UU Church will welcome Andrew Baker. He will be speaking about “Sharing Our Words of Power.” In this service, we will reflect together on the power of the words we sing and speak. If you have a short poem that expresses for you some dimension of that power, bring it with you to contribute to this collective meditation.

The church is at 399 Main St., on the corner of Hope and Main streets.

Get a double dose of blues music Saturday, Dec. 1

GREENFIELD — Join us for the second in our music series on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. for a double dose of blues music. Misty Blue and Born IV Blues will be performing at First United Methodist Church, 25 Church St. A $10 suggested donation is appreciated.

Christmas Carol Sing & Concert set for Saturday, Dec. 1

Advent Penance Service, Sunday, Dec. 2

GREENFIELD — An Advent Penance Service for the Greenfield Catholic Community, the parishes of Blessed Sacrament and Holy Trinity, will take place at Holy Trinity Church, 133 Main St., on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. Many priests will be available to hear confessions. It is a wondrous opportunity to see the forgiveness of sins and enter into the true spirit of the Christmas season.

Hanukkah Celebration set for Dec. 9
