Wednesday: Free summer concert

MONTAGUE CENTER — The First Congregational Church of Montague, 4 North St., will offer its final summer concert Wednesday Aug. 5, 6 p.m. on the church lawn.

John Fuller and Becky Walton will provide the music. They sing a wide range of country music. Please remember to bring your own lawn chair and facial covering.

The concert is only held weather permitting.

St. Mary’s offering outdoor Masses

ORANGE — St. Mary’s Parish in Orange, 19 Congress St., offers outdoor Masses for weekend worship. Continuing through the fall, St. Mary’s Church will be offering two weekend Masses — Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. The parish has had outdoor Masses on weekdays since June, Tuesdays at noon and Thursdays at 5 p.m. A recorded Mass is also seen on local cable AOTV on Sundays at 11 a.m. and on WVAO radio, 105.9 FM Sunday’s at 9 a.m.

Sunday at First Congregational in Shelburne

SHELBURNE — This Sunday, Aug. 2, the First Congregational church of Shelburne has a written resource and video service on its website (shelburnechurch.org).

Sunday: About the prophet Zephaniah

HALIFAX, Vt. — The Rev. Dr. Marcia Dorey will discuss the minor prophet Zephaniah from the Old Testament on Sunday, Aug. 2, at a service for the Halifax Union Society. This service will be by teleconference starting at 5 p.m. The Society is not meeting in person this summer due to Covid-19.
