There are two classrooms, one for 2.9- to 4-year-olds and another for 4- to 5-year-olds. The school also takes advantage of the Y’s facilities with weekly swim and gymnastics lessons and daily P.E. in the gym. The school is open 50 weeks per year, even on snow days, and provides early care (6:30 to 8:30 a.m.) and late care (3:30 to 5:30 p.m.). There are two, three and five day per week options. Parents who enroll their children for the five-day extended year option get a free YMCA family membership. Voucher funding is accepted. To schedule a visit call Lisa at 773-3646, ext. 431.

2017-18 Fall Program Brochure: The Fall Program Brochure will be available by Friday, Aug. 4, with 24 pages of program options for children, teens, families and seniors. Registration for September/October classes begins on Monday, Aug. 7, for Y facility members and Aug. 14 for all others. Classes start Sept. 5-12. The Y has created many options where parents and their children can come to the Y together and each do their own activity or play together as a family. See “Brochure” at ymcaingreenfield.org for details.

Summer Swim Lessons: The Y is offering swim lessons for children ages 3 to 10 this summer. There is one more two-week session with classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; Aug. 7-18 for 3- to 5-year-olds (without parent in the water) from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m. and 6- to 10-year-olds (polliwog/guppy I) from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. The class fees are Y members $25 and Program Associates $35. The camps staff create “like ability groups” so all levels will feel comfortable. There is a daily swim and game room play as well as a free lunch. Our air-conditioned gym provides cool comfortable play. The camp weeks run until Aug. 18. See “Camps” at ymcaingreenfield.org or pick up a camp packet at the YMCA.
