Comerford, flu clinic coming to Colrain library

COLRAIN — Griswold Memorial Library, 12 Main Road, will host Sen. Jo Comerford, D-Northampton, on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday’s event is a stop on Comerford’s People’s Office Library Tour.

A key mission of the tour, said Comerford’s District Director Elena Cohen, is “celebrating the central role that libraries play as democracy engines.”

“This tour will ensure that constituents learn more about the work Sen. Comerford is doing in the Legislature,” Cohen said, “as well as ask questions, share ideas and join in the conversation about issues affecting our communities.”

On Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Griswold Memorial Library will host a flu clinic. Vaccines will be free with an insurance card, and, without insurance, vaccines will cost $20 for adults and $10 for children.

This is the final flu clinic of the season sponsored by the Cooperative Public Health Service overseen by the Franklin Regional Council of Governments.
