Salmon Falls Gallery reopens

SHELBURNE FALLS — The Salmon Falls Gallery at 1 Ashfield St. reopened its doors on Jan. 19 following a winter break. The gallery will be open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

“We are fully restocked with all your favorites, including our most popular fiber artists,” the gallery wrote in their email newsletter.

Artists with work on display at the gallery include Annie Collins from Greenfield, Belinda Lyons Zucker from Turners Falls and Susan Mulholland from Leverett.

Chair chosen for Selectboard

CHARLEMONT — Valentine Reid, who has served on the Selectboard since May 2022, will retain his role as chair of the board.

Reid will serve alongside William Harker, who previously served on the Selectboard, and newcomer Jared Bellows. Harker and Bellows were elected earlier this month following the resignations of Marguerite Willis and Dan Girard.
