GREENFIELD — Police responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near the intersection of Mill Street and Bank Row Monday, though the pedestrian was not seriously injured.

Greenfield firefighters could be seen attending to a man in the middle of the west lane of Mill Street after the accident, which happened just after noon. A light blue Honda CRV was pulled off to the side, and first responders had the section of road across from Valley Mart blocked off.

A police officer on scene said the man’s injuries were not life-threatening, and did not know whether the man would have to be transported to the hospital. Police said the accident was being investigated and more information was not yet available.
