Another former UMass women’s basketball player has committed to a new school for next season.

Makennah White announced via her Instagram she has committed to play at Seton Hall for the 2023-24 season. Seton Hall plays in the Big East, and finished the 2022-23 season with a 19-15 record.

White finished her UMass career with 595 points over three seasons. In the 2022-23 season, she averaged 9.7 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game.

Bellamy, Hyduke commit

Two more players from the transfer portal have committed to UMass – Bre Bellamy and Tory Hyduke.

Bellamy comes to UMass after spending four seasons with William & Mary. In the 2022-23 season, the forward started 28 games, averaging 7.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

Also joining the Minutewomen is Tori Hyduke from Drexel University. After suffering a preseason injury her freshman year that kept her out of action, the guard spent one year with George Washington before transferring to Drexel, where she spent the next three seasons. In the 2022-23 season, Hyduke averaged 2.8 points per game and one rebound per game, dishing out 20 assists.
