GREENFIELD — Tonight’s City Council meeting has been canceled because of inclement weather, according to City Clerk Kathy Scott.
The City Council scheduled two meetings in December — one originally planned for tonight and one for Wednesday, Dec. 18. Tonight’s agenda included first readings, public hearings, second readings, appointments and communications with the City Council, including public comment.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Scott said she has called the state to determine what Tuesday agenda items can be taken up during Wednesday’s meeting, if any.
The meeting on Wednesday is still scheduled and the council will take up the remaining motions, orders and resolutions at the John Zon Community Center at 7 p.m.
This will be the final meeting of the year for the present City Council and Mayor William Martin before newly elected representatives take office in January.
