“The New Democrat”: Loren Spivack will speak Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Room at the Fiske, Murphy, Mack Complex , 110 New Athol Road. Spivack is author of “The New Democrat” a parody history of the Obama administration. Spivack’s second book, “The Gorax,” is a parody of the environmental movement, starring Al Gore as the misguided gremlin who uses government to destroy prosperity without ever accomplishing even his own goals.
