April Vacation Week: Sign up today for a fun filled week of activities, games, and outdoor fun for your child grades K-7. This program is held at the Youth Center, 20 Sanderson St. from Tuesday, April 16 through Friday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with early care available from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and late care from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Walking fieldtrips to Beacon Field and Federal Street School Playgrounds. Lunch, afternoon snack, and drink must be sent with child. Morning snack provided. Registration deadline is April 1. $120 residents, $130 non-residents.

Summer Camp Registration Opens April 1: Ready for another fun filled summer? Be sure to register early, as camp fills quickly! The complete registration packet must be completed and a $25 deposit per camper per session is due at the time of registration. Tee Ball: Tee Ball is for ages 5-7 (must be 5 at the start of the program). Players will learn fundamental skills and good sportsmanship through confidence building drills and activities along with scrimmages. Saturdays, May 4 to June 8, 8:30 to 10 a.m. $35 residents, $45 non-residents. Volunteer coaches needed.

Buddy Baseball: Buddy Baseball begins Saturday, May 11 and runs through June 29, 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Greenfield Middle School. This program is for youth with disabilities, where each player will have a peer buddy to assist with skills the player cannot perform. Buddies and coaches are needed for this program. Come join us in celebrating 25 years of Buddy Baseball. $25 residents, $35 non-residents.

Start Smart Baseball: Start Smart Baseball is for children 3-5 and teaches children the basic skills necessary to play organized baseball while spending time with their parents. All participants leave with their very own baseball kit. Tuesdays, May 14 to June 18, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Greenfield Swim Area. $45 residents, $55 non-residents.

Hiring Lifeguards: Does gray March weather have you thinking of warmer days to come? The Recreation Department is already thinking summer, and we’re looking for certified lifeguards, age 16+, to join our incredible team at the Green River Swimming and Recreation Area for the summer of 2019. GRASP Highlights: Did you know GRASP offers half-day care as well as regular afterschool care? Students in the Greenfield Recreation After School Program at Federal Street and Four Corners Schools have a blast enjoying special craft projects, outside fun, and extra free choice programming on half days!
