Open Swim Program: Takes place at the Turners Falls High School Pool on Tuesday and Friday evenings: Jan. 26 and 30; Feb. 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23 and 27; and March 2, 6, 9. American Red Cross Babysitting Course: Will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Obtain the knowledge and resources to become a great babysitter. This fun, interactive course teaches students first aid and safety skills, as well as helpful tips on how to prevent and respond to emergencies. For youths ages 11 to 15. Montague residents, $40; non-residents, $45. Registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 26.

Springfield Thunderbirds Game vs. The Utica Comets on Saturday, March 10, at MassMutual Center, Springfield. Puck Drops at 7:05 p.m. “Pink in the Rink Game” that helps fight Breast Cancer. Discounted tickets for all Montague residents, $3 from each ticket goes to recreation department. Free parking in the Civic Center garage. $17 per ticket; get a T-Birds hat for an additional $3. A separate registration form is available. Deadline to purchase tickets is March 5.
