Travel Basketball: Registration is open in the grade 3 to 4 and grade 5 to 6 travel basketball program. Practices begin the week of Nov. 28. Games start in January. Practices take place twice a week on a rotating schedule. $55 residents, $65 nonresidents. Registration deadline is Nov. 17. A $5 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.

Pee Wee Basketball: Registration for Pee Wee Basketball, grades K to 2, is open. Learn the fundamentals of the game through skill-building drills and scrimmages. Pee Wee will be Thursday nights, Jan. 4, 2018, through March 1, 2018. $35 residents, $45 non-residents. Registration deadline is Dec. 28. A $5 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.

Ski & Snowboarding: Join us four Saturdays in January for fun and adventure on the slopes of Berkshire East. Participants must provide their own transportation to and from the mountain. The program is for ages 8 and older. Lift tickets for residents are $150 youth, $170 adult for four days of skiing, with additional fees for lessons and rentals. Sign-ups are due Dec. 1 for program.

Winter Break Vacation Week: Sign up for Winter Break Vacation Week, a fun-filled week of activities, games and outdoor fun for your child, grades K to 7. The program is held at the Youth Center, 20 Sanderson St., from Tuesday, Dec. 26, through Friday, Dec. 29 (half-day on Friday). Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with early and late care available. Walking field trips to Beacon Field for sledding, skating and snow fun. Lunch, afternoon snack and drink must be sent with child. Morning snack provided. Children also must bring appropriate winter clothing (boots, hats, gloves, etc). $105 residents, $115 non-residents. Additional fees for early and late care. Registration deadline is Dec. 11. A $25 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.

GRASP Highlights: Students in the Greenfield Recreation After School Program at Federal Street and Four Corners Schools got an art history lesson last week, experimenting with Monet inspired watercolors, Picasso-style self-portraits, and a hands-on pottery experience, learning to make coil and pinch pots.
