The dominance of Corriann Delaney and Ashley LaCross continued Tuesday afternoon.

The Frontier Regional School sophomore and Mohawk Trail Regional High School freshman again found themselves battling atop the PVIAC Alpine Ski League leaderboard. Delaney wound up second overall to pace the Red Hawks, while LaCross was right behind her in third place as the league held its seventh race of the winter at Berkshire East Ski Resort.

Delaney posted a runner-up time of 36.74 seconds as the girls teams raced in the slalom. Westfield High School’s Grace O’Connor was the individual winner with a time of 36.40 seconds.

LaCross’ third-place performance (37.04) once again helped the Warriors to a North Division team victory. Mohawk has won every race so far this winter, and is cruising toward a team title with just one race remaining on Thursday before the Feb. 13 PVIAC Individuals.

A pair of Warriors were right behind LaCross in the North competition. Erin Laffond was fourth in the North and fifth overall with a time of 38.48 seconds, while teammate Taylor Loomis was right behind her in sixth place overall (fifth North) in 39.34 seconds.

Rounding out the Mohawk scorers was Amalie Rowehl, who crossed the line in 22nd place overall and 15th in the North with a time of 53.38 seconds.

Also posting strong showings for Mohawk were Sarah Herzig (34th) and Areia Heilman (37th).

Delaney led the Frontier contingent, but teammate Anna Zera had herself a fine showing as well by taking 14th overall and 12th in the North with a time of 48.46 seconds.

Maddie Raymond took 30th overall for the Red Hawks (58.69) and 19th in the North, while Paige Moriarty was the team’s No. 4 scorer Tuesday after posting a 55th-place finish in 1:10.27.

Mohawk’s Bennett Boucias posted another solid top 10 finish as the boys’ teams competed in the giant slalom Tuesday.

White was the first local skier down the mountain, clocking in with a time of 25.53 seconds. That put him ninth overall and sixth in the North.

St. Mary’s Parish School standout Matt Masciadrelli was the top overall finisher in 23.75 seconds, followed by Longmeadow High Schoool’s John Burger (24.00). Burger was the fastest North skier with Masciadrelli claiming South honors.

Dan White of Mohawk wasn’t far behind his teammate, finishing 15th overall and 11th in the North with a final time of 26.10 seconds.

Fellow Warriors Ryan Burke (29.36) and Michael Harrison (34.09) were the other scorers for their squad. Burke took 33rd overall while Harrison was 70th down the mountain.

Frontier freshman Ben Martino scored another top-10 South Division finish to pace his squad. Martino was ninth in the South and 30th overall, posting a time of 28.77 seconds.

Teammate Aaron Halbech was 44th overall and 15th in the South in 30.30 seconds, while Ben Makosiej was next in 57th place (24th in the South) in 32.86 seconds.
