Stephanie Scoville pitched a no-hitter to lead Pioneer Valley Regional School to a 12-0 win over Holyoke High School in an independent softball game Monday in Northfield.

The game was held close at 5-0 through four innings until Pioneer exploded for seven runs through the last two innings to force the mercy rule over the Purple Knights.

Scoville pitched the complete-game, totaling 12 strikeouts and only two walks.

Annie Johnson went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in, Olivia Rowe went 2-for-4 to add her own RBI, and Tayla Sadlowski went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs to end the game.

Jordan Fournier and Rich each finished with three hits. Hannah Dupont singled, doubled and drove in a run, Alexis Mainville doubled and drove in a run, and Jordyn Berry had a hit and an RBI.
