Another big afternoon from its top athletes propelled Mohawk Trail Regional High School to a key Intercounty League girls’ track & field victory on Thursday.

Four Warriors won multiple events and the visitors picked up a 98-47 win over Greenfield High School in Greenfield.

Ashley LaCross swept the 100- (14.4 seconds) and 200-meter dashes (31.0) for Mohawk (3-0 overall and league). Meghan Davis won two running events as well for the visitors, taking first in the 800 (2:31.2) and 1-mile (5:44.3).

Mohawk’s Jaxon Palmer claimed wins in the 400 (69.1) triple jump (29 feet, 10¾ inches). Teammate Gabby Shean helped pace the squad in the field events, where she won the discus (68-7) and shot put (32-7).
