Schedule for Wendell Meetinghouse’s 175th anniversary celebration

WENDELL — The following is a full schedule of events planned as part of the Wendell Meetinghouse’s 175th anniversary celebration on Saturday from 2 to 6:30 p.m.

■2 to 3 p.m. — Ten-minute tours of meetinghouse renovations so far. Groups of 15 participants at a time are allowed. Masks are requested. There will also be music with Garrett and Ajika Sawyer, and Alistair MacMartin will share points of interest with attendees.

■3 to 3:30 p.m. — A welcome address from Amelia Sawyer; Jerry Barilla, recognition of workers and volunteers; Pam Richardson, history of the Wendell Meetinghouse; Court Dorsey, music, the future of the meetinghouse and dedication; Carrie Ferguson, music; Chris Queen, recognition of donors and volunteers; state Rep. Susannah Whipps, I-Athol; and Morning Star Chenven with the Wendell Community Chorus.

■3:30 to 4 p.m. — Time capsule ceremony with drumming, led by Abdou Sarr and Karen Copeland.

■4 to 5 p.m. — Finger foods; complementary wines from Quabbin Sky Vineyards; complementary craft brews from Pioneer Valley Brewery (two-drink maximum); Stick’n the Mist Morris dancers; state Sen. Jo Comerford, D-Northampton; and Moonlight Davis, Morning Star Chenven and the Wendell Chorus.

■5 to 6:30 p.m. — Dancing on the North Common with The Gaslight Tinkers. Bring blankets and lawn chairs for a comfy seat on the common.
