Greenfield, Jan. 22

9:39 p.m. — A Nissan Altima was reportedly broken into at the lot of Foster’s Supermarket, taking personal documents pertaining to the son of the driver of the vehicle.

Greenfield, Jan. 23

8:51 p.m. — Traffic division was advised of terrible potholes on Silver Street, near Federal Street, following a call from a driver about a large pothole on Colrain Road, which was measured at 3-by-4-foot, with 1-foot in depth.

9:11 p.m. — A two-car crash near Adams Road and the Route 2 bypass. Mass Highway and Greenfield Department of Public Works was notified. Icy road conditions were partially to blame.

11 p.m. — The glass door to Swift Cleaners on Main Street shattered when a man was reportedly doing his wash. He contacted the police to notify the owner.

Montague, Jan. 23

8:35 a.m. — A woman found two needles and some baggies outside of The Millers Falls Laundry Company on East Main Street.

10:19 p.m. — A vehicle hit a utility pole on Turners Falls Road. Eversource was contacted about the utility pole.

Greenfield, Jan. 24

8:45 a.m. — Accident with injuries reported at Federal and Pleasant streets, involving a 2005 gray Toyota Corolla. Further details were unavailable.

8:54 a.m. — Report of an automobile fire at Big Y Plaza. Greenfield Fire Department responded, extinguished fire.

Montague, Jan. 24

8 p.m. — Brittanylee C. Morrison, 28, of Fourth Street was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, malicious destruction of property of about $250 and resist arrest. Multiple 911 calls alerted police of a woman breaking windows and yelling.

11:18 p.m. — A caller reported a male at F.L. Roberts on Third Street whose face was covered in blood. The call was logged as an assault and battery. Police and MedCare responded. He refused transport to the hospital but was given a ride to a family member’s home. The incident is currently under investigation.

Greenfield, Jan. 25

8:04 a.m. — A breaking and entering of a vehicle parked on Bayberry Court was reported. Under investigation.

4:59 p.m. — A report of a missing person from Victory House on Conway Street.

Greenfield, Jan. 26

9:01 a.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported on Deerfield Street. The driver’s side mirror was smashed off of a black 2007 Honda Accord sometime after 9 p.m. the previous night.

11:31 a.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at Big Y on the Mohawk Trail, between a gray 2014 Mazda CX-5 and a gray 2011 Hyundai Accent. The two vehicles collided when backing out of parking spaces.

Greenfield, Jan. 27

3:18 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at AutoZone on Federal Street between a gray 2015 Toyota RAV4 and a black 2009 Honda Civic. Both vehicles drove away safely from the rear-end collision.

Greenfield, Jan. 28

11:29 a.m. — A loaded 9 millimeter magazine was found in a guest room in Days Inn and turned over to police.

Greenfield, Jan. 30

9:55 a.m. — Marie S. Cass, 25, of Hawley was arrested on a warrant at Juniper Court.

11:17 a.m. — An uncapped hypodermic syringe was found on Aster Court and disposed of in a sharps container.

4:30 p.m. — Report of a missing person from Victory House, on Conway Street.

6:30 p.m. — A Deerfield Street resident reported two of his basement windows were smashed, valued at about $150 each.

Greenfield, Jan. 31

12:35 a.m. — Shawn W. Parsons, 25, of Mills Street was arrested on a warrant and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was stopped by police on Lincoln Street.
