Eight Franklin County Technical School sophomores in horticulture instructor Kurt Richardson’s class took to the Franklin County Fairgrounds to plant 50 trees of assorted varieties Thursday morning. The trees will memorialize lost loved ones as part of a fundraiser for the fairgrounds’ mudslide remediation project. Above, Richardson helps load trees.
