Summer Eats at Athol Public Library through Aug. 3

ATHOL — The Athol Public Library will be a free grab-and-go site for the state’s Summer Eats program through Aug. 3

Grab-and-go lunches are available every Monday through Thursday from 11:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. The delivery van will be parked near the entry to the riverwalk, near the large boulders.

Meals are free to anyone 18 years old or younger. No registration is required.

This program is made possible by the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and local school and community meal providers. A full list and schedule of meal sites is available at bit.ly/3NK5gWm.

Orange Scholarship Foundation names 2023 recipients

ORANGE — The Orange Scholarship Foundation has announced the 2023 scholarship recipients, totaling $74,000.

Village Neighbors board of directors elects new member

SHUTESBURY — Barbara Bodzin was elected to the Village Neighbors board of directors at the nonprofit’s most recent board meeting.

Additionally, Jeannette Stockton, Elizabeth Fernández O’Brien, Judy Raphael and Donald Stone were all reelected to the board.
