Powers Institute Museum open for final weekend of 2021 season

BERNARDSTON — The Powers Institute Museum will be open on Sunday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. for its final day of the 2021 season.

Located on the second floor at 20 Church St., the museum is free to visit and is open on the first Sunday of each month from May through September. After a year’s absence starting in October 2019, the Powers Institute Museum reopened to the public on May 2, 2021, with new acquisitions on display throughout this summer.

Additionally, due to COVID-19 health safety concerns, the museum will not be open during the Scarecrow in the Park weekend of Oct. 16 and 17.
