WARWICK — Approximately 40 craftspeople and vendors will be at Warwick Community School, 41 Winchester Road, for a holiday fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, also known as Small Business Saturday.
Outgrowing the Town Hall, the fair moved to the school several years ago.
The fair added a free swap a few years ago. This year, the focus is music, so people are invited to bring CDs, vinyl records and cassettes to swap them for others that will be on hand. People are welcome to grab some “new-to-them” music even if they have nothing to swap.
Clyde Perkins Jr. will play the harp in the gymnasium. Michael Humphries’ chili will be available for lunch, there will be raffles, and Santa Claus will be in attendance for photos and hugs.
The fair’s proceeds benefit the local programs of the Trinitarian Congregational Church/Metcalf Chapel, which include Free Food Fridays, space for homeschoolers to learn, a medical lending library, movie nights and more. Questions can be directed to jarkat99@yahoo.com.
BERNARDSTON — The Bernardston Kiwanis Club will host a tree lighting at Cushman Park at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1. There will be cookies and hot chocolate, as well as a visit from Santa Claus.
NORTHFIELD — Three Northfield organizations that focus on families — the Northfield Kiwanis Club, Northfield Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the Northfield Food Pantry — will work together to address food insecurity at the Kiwanis Club’s annual Holiday Raffle and Craft Fair, set for Saturday, Dec. 7.
Each year, the Northfield Kiwanis Club organizes the fair at Northfield Elementary School, located at 104 Main St.

This year, food collection bins near the fair’s entrance will make it easy for patrons to drop off donations of nonperishable food items that families need. Northfield Food Pantry board member Steve Roberto and colleagues will be on hand to collect donations and explain how the pantry works and whom it benefits.
“Forging community cooperation that amplifies charitable giving is what Northfield Kiwanis has always been about,” Steve Stoia, current treasurer and former head of the service organization’s local chapter, said in a statement.
Proceeds will support food and clothing gift cards that are distributed to families in need by the elementary school’s guidance staff.
Artisans and craftspeople will have booths set up and will share space in the cafeteria with the PTO, which will sell treats and drinks to shoppers. The fair opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 2 p.m., when raffle tickets will be drawn and winners will be called to pick up their prizes.
