Dec. 2: Senior Center decorating BERNARDSTON — Guests are encouraged to help decorate the Bernardston Senior Center on Friday, Dec. 2, starting at 11 a.m.
Participants will make new decorations as well as use some from previous years. No registration is required.
Vaccine clinic coming to Pioneer NORTHFIELD — The Franklin Regional Council of Governments will hold a flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Pioneer Valley Regional School on Saturday, Dec. 3, from noon to 3 p.m.
Registering online at frcog.org/covid is recommended, though walk-ins are welcome. Attendees are advised to bring their insurance and vaccine cards, if they have them. No one will be turned away for lack of insurance.
Bank rep to offer ‘economic roundtable’ at coffee social NORTHFIELD — Residents are invited to an “economic roundtable” with Greenfield Savings Bank representative Matthew Sheridan during a coffee social at the Northfield Senior Center on Monday, Dec. 5.
Starting at 11 a.m., Sheridan will join in conversation regarding economic and financial trends, as well as answer questions. Between 10 a.m. and noon, the full length of the coffee social, attendees can also assemble puzzles, work on knitting projects, pick out a game or play cards, or enjoy snacks and beverages.
Dec. 5: Holiday carols with Debi Spyre BERNARDSTON — Holiday carols with Debi Spyre will accompany dinner at the Bernardston Senior Center on Monday, Dec. 5. Music starts at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 4 p.m.
The meal will consist of beef bolognese with penne pasta, Italian vegetable blend and Lorna Doone shortbread cookies. There is a $3 suggested donation. Register by Dec. 3 by calling 413-648-5413.
