NORTHFIELD — The Deerfield Valley Art Association’s Fiddleheads Gallery at 105 Main St. will host an exhibit of student art that will include a pair of receptions on Friday, Feb. 3, from 3 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Cookies and beverages will be available at the receptions. Masks are optional, though COVID-19 vaccinations are required for adults.
The exhibit will be open for viewing on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. through Feb. 18.
NORTHFIELD — Free used puzzles will be available at Dickinson Memorial Library on Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Attendees are advised to park in the back and enter through the side door of the library. Turn left to find the Community Room.
Participants are invited to take as many puzzles as they want, and can keep them as long as they need. The puzzle swap is offered monthly.

BERNARDSTON — The next Second Saturday Roast Beef Supper will be held Feb. 11, at the United Church of Bernardston, located at 58 Church St. Seatings are available at 5 and 6:15 p.m.

NORTHFIELD — Retired art teacher Ginny Rockwood will lead a class at the Northfield Senior Center where participants will make bird seed cakes to hang in their front yards. The class will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m.
Although it is not required, participants are encouraged to bring a mixing bowl and mixing spoon. To make a bird seed cake in a particular shape, bring a cookie cutter or two. All other materials will be provided.
According to a Senior Center newsletter, the class requires at least four participants and it will be capped at 12 participants. The cost is $5.

BERNARDSTON — The Bernardston Senior Center will host a free seminar on the difference between Medicare supplement plans and Medicare advantage plans on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m.
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center will host “Ask an Audiologist” with audiologist Julie Fisher on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The event will include coffee, a presentation and discussion, followed by screenings with a portable audiometer for anyone who is interested.
BERNARDSTON — A Zoom presentation at the Bernardston Senior Center will share poison control information on Friday, Feb. 24, at 11:30 a.m.
The Regional Center for Poison Control and Prevention serving Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides management and treatment of poisoning exposures. The Zoom presentation is intended to provide older adults with definitions of a poison, outline what the Poison Control Center does and first steps to take in a poisoning emergency, and share tools and tips to prevent potential poisonings. Guests at the Senior Center will receive stickers, magnets and magnifiers.
NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center’s “Happy Feet” walking group will meet at the canalside access road leading to Cabot Station in Turners Falls on Monday, Feb. 27, at 10:30 a.m.
The walk will be on flat, plowed terrain, according to a Senior Center newsletter. Dogs on leashes are welcome. In the event of steady rain, sleet or ice, the walk will be canceled.
BERNARDSTON — Sara Snyder will present “Joy of Song” at the Bernardston Senior Center on Monday, Feb. 27, at 3:30 p.m.
Snyder specializes in vintage pop tunes of the 1910s to 1930s. According to a Senior Center newsletter, her repertoire of more than 250 songs also includes folk, country, blues, jazz, showtunes, Latin and more.
A hot meal will follow at 4:30 p.m. The meal will include sliced pork with mustard sauce, mashed potatoes with sour cream and chives, vegetables and a fruit cup.
