Town Administrator to hold concert at Senior Center

NORTHFIELD — Town Administrator Willie Morales, along with Cliff Noble and Mary Brown Bonacci, are offering a concert at the Senior Center on Tuesday, Nov. 7, starting at 11:30 a.m.

Northfield residents remember Cuba trip

NORTHFIELD — In a third installment of their presentation on Cuba, Carol Pike and Martha Tenney will talk about Cuba’s capital city, Havana, on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Senior Center. Those interested in attending are asked to call 413-498-2186 to reserve lunch.

Informational forum set for Thursday

NORTHFIELD — The Community Preservation Committee is holding a informational forum on the Community Preservation Act (CPA) on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

According to a post on the Nextdoor social networking site, the goals of the forum are to educate attendees about the act, how Northfield has benefited from it and how to submit proposals for CPA funding. The meeting involves a slideshow followed by a question and answer session.

Full Circle School to host concert

BERNARDSTON — “Bim Bam,” a bilingual music duo, will perform at Full Circle School, located at 21 Parmenter Road, on Friday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m.

The event, which is free and open to the public, features dancing, puppets and songs in both Spanish and English, according to an event flier.

Voter registration deadline looms

NORTHFIELD — In order to vote in the Dec. 4 special town meeting, residents must register to vote by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

According to Town Clerk Dan Campbell, registered voters do not have to re-register. The deadline applies to new voters only.
