No contested races in Bernardston town election

BERNARDSTON — There are no contested races on Monday’s annual town election ballot, and two seats for which no one is running.

Polls will be open at Town Hall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Positions on the ballot are as follows:

■Assessor, one seat with a two-year term — no candidate.

■Assessor, one seat with a three-year term — Melissa Murphy, incumbent.

■Board of Health, one seat with a three-year term — Trisha Earl, caucus nominee. (Earl was appointed to fill the remaining term vacated by Jean Page in November 2022.)

■Constable, one seat with a three-year term — no candidate.

■Cushman Library trustees, four seats with three-year terms — Lucy Damkoehler, incumbent; Robert E. Lively, incumbent; Justin Phelps Lawrence, incumbent; and Veronica Gilmore, caucus nominee.

■Moderator, one seat with a three-year term — Geoffrey A. Wilson, incumbent.

■Powers Institute trustees, four seats with three-year terms — Joanne H. Balzarini, incumbent; Donna Eddy, incumbent; Patriciann Grover, incumbent; and Jonathan Pineo, incumbent.

■Recreation Commission, two seats with three-year terms — Tara Stone, incumbent; and Sarah Wyngowski, caucus nominee.

■Recreation Commission, one seat with a one-year term — Kerry Baird, caucus nominee.

■Selectboard, one seat with a three-year term — Brian Keir, incumbent.
