Stoneleigh-Burnham School alumna Meghan Rigali, Class of 1999, will be featured in the school’s winter art exhibit opening tomorrow, Jan. 12.

The exhibit, “From Vermont to Ethiopia and Back Again,” features photography, paintings, and poetry by Rigali, Matt Schlein and Behulum Mengistu. This exhibit highlights ongoing cultural partnerships between artists and educators in Vermont and their counterparts in Hawassa, Ethiopia.

Rigali, who is also a graduate of San Francisco Art Institute and is currently working as an interdisciplinary artist-educator, will present a gallery talk Friday at 3 p.m. An opening reception will follow, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Both the gallery talk and reception are free and open to the public. The exhibit runs until Feb. 15.

Geissler Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 574 Bernardston Road, Greenfield. For more information, call 413-774-2711 or visit: sbschool.org.
