Monday, Sept. 30

2:37 p.m. — Officer assisting a tractor-trailer unit on Turnpike Road having mechanical issues. Vehicle was moved to Sandy Lane out of the way of traffic. Services rendered.

3:56 p.m. — Walk-in to the station reports vehicles are still speeding down South High Street, making it unsafe for children and residents living there. Residents at the address are now setting off their car alarms, too. Spoke with the reporting party and neighbor, advised of complaints.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

5:30 p.m. — Joshua David Jablonicky, 43, homeless, was arrested on two warrants on Power Street.

5:56 p.m. — Caller reports erratic operation. Vehicle was swerving around other vehicles and drove on the edge of someone’s lawn. Last seen turning left onto Randall Road from Turners Falls Road and into a driveway. Partial plate search conducted, but did not yield any matches.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

4:37 p.m. — Caller from Highland Circle reports two males walked onto his property and looked into his window. When he confronted them, they asked him if he wanted a dollar. They did the same thing to his neighbor. Unable to locate.

Thursday, Oct. 3

1:20 p.m. — Reporting party states there is poor visibility on the crossover when turning left onto Route 47 to head south. States trees are overgrown and blocking the view. Department of Public Works notified.

2:48 p.m. — Assisting with a fuel spill at Cumberland Farms on Montague City Road. Services rendered.

Friday, Oct. 4

9:43 a.m. — Walk-in to the station reports while he was driving a school van the day before, another driver became very aggressive toward him along Avenue A.

11:20 a.m. — Owner of Mohawk Falafel and Shawarma on Second Street arrived at the food truck and found that someone had broken into it, did some damage and stole some cash. Report taken.

Saturday, Oct. 5

4:48 a.m. — Security alarm sounding at Subway on Avenue A. Officer advises someone attempted to break in, unknown if they made access. Officer secured the door, will follow up later.

2:27 p.m. — Caller reports a group of kids is outside threatening him and his girlfriend on Central Street. He reports they have knives. One male allegedly took a gun, described as a Glock, out of his bag. Situation mediated. All parties writing statements.

Sunday, Oct. 6

10:28 a.m. — Employee of the wastewater pump station at First and L streets advising an RV has plugged into the power outlet on the other side of a fence that surrounds the property. RV occupants advised of complaint. Extension cords unplugged and RV occupants told to move along.

2:33 p.m. — Caller front Wrightson Avenue reports someone is dumping brush at the end of the street into the woods. Land is private property and the male party has permission from the land owner to dump brush there.

10:01 p.m. — Caller reports loud music is playing in the alley between Fourth and Fifth streets. States if nothing is done, he will “handle it himself.” Officer advised. Reporting party called back, saying no officers have responded and he’s going to start throwing Molotov cocktails. Officer advises music was stopped upon arrival. Reporting party called back, stating a bunch of loud people just showed up and they are bothering him. Officer spoke to the reporting party. Services rendered.
