Montague, Oct. 9

1:03 p.m. — A Griswold Street caller reports her 12-year-old son ran away. Officer Joshua Dobosz located child on Canal Street. Mother notified and coming to get him.

1:51 p.m. — Broken utility pole on Owasso Avenue with low-hanging wires. Montague Center Fire Department toned out; Eversource notified.

3 p.m. — Motorist says stop sign at intersection of South Prospect Street and Mormon Hollow Road is on the ground. DPW notified.

4:34 p.m. — Report of a used needle by the dumpster in the parking lot of Hillcrest Homes on Turners Falls Road. Officer Cody Wells collected the needle and properly disposed of it.

Montague, Oct. 11

8:56 a.m. — A Third Street caller reports someone entered her unlocked motor vehicle overnight and stole $35 in cash.

1:52 p.m. — Multiple calls from Third Street. Unwanted male. Subject has returned, punched caller’s door and is crying in the common area. Subject moved along. Name and date of birth given verbally only. Subject claims to have no ID and no license.

Montague, Oct. 13

12:47 p.m. — Caller reporting a road rage incident. States another driver was operating erratically on Main Street and she flipped him off. The driver confronted her with brass knuckles, stating, “You’re lucky you’re a woman,” then drove off. Unknown make and model of vehicle. Only description of the driver was a white man in his 20s, with brown hair. Officer Nathan Pervere responded and advised caller of options.

Montague, Oct. 14

1:21 p.m. — Randall Alfred Brileya, 43, of Turners Falls, was arrested for a subsequent offense of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

8:03 p.m. — Report of a two-vehicle accident on the Fifth Street Bridge, with no apparent injuries. Fluid coming from underneath one vehicle. Units advised; AMR Ambulance advised; Turners Falls Fire Department advised.

Montague, Oct. 15

7:28 p.m. — Lucas Davin Johnson, 24, of Orange, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and having no inspection sticker.

Montague, Oct. 17

2:05 a.m. — A Main Street caller states there is a car tipped over the guardrail. Unsure if anyone is in the car. Officers advised. One occupant was in the vehicle. Officer Joshua Dobosz cut her from seat belt, advising she is uninjured. Rau’s called for tow.

9:53 a.m. — A West Chestnut Hill Road caller reports there are 15 to 20 pigs on her property and she doesn’t know who the owner is. Officer Daniel Miner advised. Owner was located and pigs were returned.

Montague, Oct. 21

7:19 a.m. — A Turnpike Road caller states someone stole the political flags from his front yard and damaged his flagpole. Caller is headed to work, but said he will call later to have an officer come by and take a report.

11:38 p.m. — Multiple calls of an altercation on Bridge Street. Two men yelling at each other. The fourth caller stated one man had been punched and was at her house yelling and threatening her neighbor.

Montague, Oct. 22

9:53 a.m. — Motor vehicle accident involving waste management truck and a DPW vehicle at the intersection of Second and L streets. No injuries.
