Monday, Oct. 28

1:20 a.m. — Traffic stop on Second Street. Joshua Allen Sanford, 41, of King Road in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of no inspection sticker and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).

8:19 a.m. — Caller from East Main Street wants to speak with an officer about ongoing harassment. Primarily from someone who claims the reporting party is suicidal. Individual is sending text messages to crisis hotlines and asking for the police to be sent to the reporting party’s home. Officer advising that the involved female would like to be called first if this type of call comes in again. Advised of options.

Tuesday, Oct. 29

12:21 a.m. — Caller reports there are two individuals in a white Dodge Charger, located between the former Between the Uprights and the Shady Glen Diner on Avenue A, who are flashing weapons at people. No vehicle found upon officer’s arrival.

10:17 p.m. — Caller from Millers Falls Road reports there is someone outside snooping around her yard and they shouldn’t be there. Reports the individual has a flashlight and is between the storage containers in her front yard, near the woods. Caller reports her daughter yelled for the individual to leave and the flashlight turned off, but she is unsure if the person is still around. Officer spoke with the involved person who was walking their dog and flashed a flashlight upon seeing an opossum. Will update the reporting party.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

11:38 a.m. — Reporting party from Millers Falls Road would like it on record that she received a call last night that she needed to take money out of the bank. The man she spoke with said he would send someone to her house today to fill out a form so that they could have access to her money. Reporting party was advised to call police if anyone shows up that she doesn’t know. Advised of options.

5:20 p.m. — Collision involving a car and a motorcycle near Scotty’s Convenience Store on Unity Street. No injuries reported. Officer requesting EMS for evaluation only. Motorcycle towed. Expired registration.
