Wednesday, Nov. 29

2:17 p.m. — Caller, unsure of the location, requests assistance for two hunters who are unfamiliar with the area and are lost in the woods (believed to be in the area of Route 47 and Federal Street). Vehicle description provided. Parties were located uninjured in the wildlife management area.

Thursday, Nov. 30

12:24 p.m — Scam call reported on Stevens Street. Caller claiming to be from Eversource stating they would shut off the reporting party’s electricity. Reporting party called Eversource directly and confirmed it was a scam.

Friday, Dec. 1

12:54 p.m. — Property manager requests assistance at an Avenue A property. Tenant eviction was performed that morning with help from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, but the tenant was not there. Belongings were moved to a storage unit in Holyoke. Tenant returned after the locks had been changed, broke in and was causing a disturbance. Property manager dropped off security footage for police to review.

7:07 p.m. — Station walk-in reports a lending company scam where the scammer said they had deposited money in the reporting party’s account “as verification.” Then the lending company wanted the reporting party to send money back to them via PayPal. Individual was advised to contact their bank and not have further communication with the company.

Saturday, Dec. 2

7:52 p.m. — Police investigated a report from 253 Farmacy at 253 Millers Falls Road after an employee called in and reported a customer had tried to pay with counterfeit money. Employee retained the bill and customer information to provide police.

Sunday, Dec. 3

7:42 a.m. — Vandalism reported on Morris Avenue. All four tires on one of the vehicles had been slashed overnight.

Monday, Dec. 4

7:30 a.m. — Reported larceny of an Amazon package (over $230) that was delivered to the hallway at Highland School Apartments on Millers Falls Road.

2:24 p.m. — Report on Second Street of two males going door to door asking if they can take pictures of residents’ Eversource bills. Gone upon police arrival.

2:55 a.m. — Multiple noise complaints from the Third Street area involving a leaf blower that had been on for almost an hour. Police found it was the Department of Public Works. One of the reporting parties was advised to file their complaint (about the hour/time that the work was being done) with the town.

2:01 p.m. — Caller reports an unleashed, aggressive dog in the alley between Third and Fourth streets. They had left a message for the animal control officer.

2:18 p.m. — Caller from Fourth Street reports their dog was attacked. Reporting party had tried calling the animal control officer first, but there was no answer.

Friday, Dec. 8

8:15 a.m. — Teah M. Golembeski, 31, of Prospect Street in Millers Falls, was arrested on a warrant.

3:42 p.m. — Harassment/threats reported on Fourth Street. Reporting party stated the neighbor’s dog attacked their dog the previous day, and now the reporting party’s child was being harassed. Parties were advised of their options.

Saturday, Dec. 9

12:09 a.m. — Police responded to St. Stanislaus Society on K Street after a 911 call that a female party had been attacked and was on the floor. Other involved party was outside the bar. Female was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

5:06 p.m. — Station walk-in reports being scammed out of $1,100 for a house rental.

Monday, Dec. 11

2:04 a.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Millers Falls Road. Caller has video footage of people walking by vehicles the reporting party sells. Doesn’t appear that anything was taken. Police advised there would be overnight patrols in the area.

Thursday, Dec. 14

8:37 a.m. — Joshua David Jablonicky, 42, homeless, was arrested at Peskeomskut Park on a warrant.

10:56 a.m. — Multiple calls from Fifth Street that a garbage truck hit a person riding a motorized scooter. No injuries reported.

5:32 p.m. — Scam reported on Vladish Avenue. Caller claimed to be from Publishers Clearing House and said the reporting party had won money, then asked them to buy a gift card. No personal information was given out.

Friday, Dec. 15

4:40 a.m. — Caller reports a burglary/breaking-and-entering incident on Griswold Street. Upon waking up, the reporting party found unknown individuals sleeping in their house. Individuals fled once discovered. They appeared to have accessed the house through a window and several items were stolen. Vehicle information and the direction of travel was provided to police.

Saturday, Dec. 16

10:27 a.m. — Federal Street caller reports a dog came onto their property and started attacking their chickens. Dog’s owner showed up and they began arguing. Police advised both parties of their options. Animal control officer to follow up with the dog owner and involved dog.

10:54 a.m. — Report of shoplifting investigated at Food City on Avenue A.

2:11 p.m. — Multiple callers report a fight outside the Nouria gas station on Third Street. Fight was over upon police arrival. Involved parties were advised of their options; both declined to pursue anything further.

Sunday, Dec. 17

12:14 a.m. — Report from the Five Eyed Fox restaurant and bar on Third Street of a female being punched in the face by another female. Issue was over concern of having a baby be brought into the bar. Declined police intervention.

3:35 a.m. — Police requested to Montague Avenue to assist with a dispute over returning property. Courtesy transport was provided and the reporting party was advised of their options.
