Monday, March 4

5:46 p.m. — Caller states she believes her car was hit in the Food City parking lot on Avenue A earlier in the afternoon. Reporting party is aware this will be on record and will be calling her insurance company.

Tuesday, March 5

4:08 a.m. — Caller from L Street reports a tote containing seat covers and floor mats was stolen from her porch.

3:47 p.m. — Caller at Greenfield Cooperative Bank on Avenue A reports money was withdrawn from the account of a customer who is deceased. Money was withdrawn at an ATM.

Wednesday, March 6

11:28 a.m. — Reporting party on Migratory Way states there is a woman who has two unleashed dogs. Woman is letting the dogs run around and into the water, and it’s disrupting the ducks. When the caller asked her to put the dogs back on leashes, the involved woman reportedly said she has special permission from the Police Department for her dogs not to be leashed. Officer advised. Person has moved along.

12:09 p.m. — Caller at the Nouria gas station on Third Street states there has been a car in a parking lot with a male party sitting in the driver’s seat since 7:15 a.m. without moving. Officer advises the male party was waiting for someone who never showed up. He has moved along.

Thursday, March 7

10:39 a.m. — Motorist reports the red and green traffic lights at Avenue A and Seventh Street are both on at the same time. Officer observed the lights were working properly upon arrival.

11:30 a.m. — Another motorist reports the red traffic light at Avenue A and Seventh Street is stuck on, even when the green light comes on. Department of Public Works was notified.

Friday, March 8

7:33 a.m. — Caller from Fourth Street requests police assistance to get into his apartment to get some items. His girlfriend has locked him out and she is not on the lease. Peace restored.

11:09 a.m. — Caller at Turners Falls High School states someone hit her car and did some damage to it while she was inside using the pool. It was determined that the caller hit a steel gate and the car was not hit by another vehicle.

Saturday, March 9

4:35 p.m. — Reporting party states there are two people on motorized mini bikes that are riding very fast on the bike path. Unable to locate.

Sunday, March 10

8:54 a.m. — Caller from Old Greenfield Road reports two arrows were shot into his yard overnight. Report taken.

3:00 p.m. — Reporting party states a man was walking down Bulkley Street, went into the woods across from his house, set up a hammock and is now laying in the hammock. Hammock is visible from the road. Officer advised.
