Montague, March 1

8:26 a.m. — Caller requesting to speak to an officer about an adult buying alcohol for underage people.

10:42 a.m. — Caller in the alleyway on G Street states there are three needles in the area. He will stand by for officers.

9:31 p.m. — Report of a tree down across Lake Pleasant Road, no wires involved. Officer James Ruddock and DPW advised.

9:43 p.m. — Report of a tree down on Industrial Boulevard, no wires involved, laying across three-quarters of the road. Sgt. James Deery and DPW advised.

10:29 p.m. — Turners Falls Fire Department advising of a tree down on Turnpike Road. DPW and Sgt. Deery advised.

10:57 p.m. — DPW reporting a tree on wires, with snapped primaries on Dry Hill Road. Eversource, Shelburne Control and units advised.

Montague, March 2

5:20 a.m. — Man walked into lobby requesting DPW be notified of a tree down on the backside of Norman Circle, impeding traffic. DPW notified.

6:47 a.m. — Caller states there is a tree down across the entire road where Old Northfield Road turns to dirt. No wires involved but road is not passable. DPW notified.

4:04 p.m. — Resident of Avenue A is at the station with footage of a dog owner who has been letting the dog defecate on the reporting party’s property.

Montague, March 9

8:57 p.m. — Ashleigh E. Judd, 33, of Amherst Road in Sunderland, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and attaching wrong plates to a motor vehicle.

Montague, March 10

9:40 a.m. — Report of a hypodermic needle in the middle of the road at the intersection of 11th and G streets.

11:26 a.m. — Report of a syringe at the intersection of Turnpike Road and Sandy Lane.

5:24 p.m. — Report of a wire down across a driveway and partly in the road on School Street. Conferenced with Shelburne Control for Montague Center Fire Department.

6:40 p.m. — A Turners Falls Road caller reporting larceny of four patio chairs. Unknown when they were taken but caller saw them listed on Facebook Marketplace in the past day or two. Chief Christopher Williams advised.

Montague, March 11

11:22 p.m. — James Leo Hill Jr., 57, of Montague City Road in Turners Falls, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), failure to stop for police, resisting arrest and having no inspection sticker.

Montague, March 12

4:58 p.m. — A Millers Falls Road caller states there is a two-vehicle accident; lots of debris. One of the vehicles is trying to leave the scene. Rau’s requested to the scene for a tow.

Montague, March 13

8:32 a.m. — Report of a tree down across West Mineral Road, no wires. DPW notified.

5:29 p.m. — A Turners Falls Road caller reporting her vehicle being vandalized again. States somehow her passenger mirror is destroyed and it happened while she was bringing groceries in the house. Officer Justin Moody advised.
