Monday, Jan. 23

6:05 p.m. — Caller from Avenue A reports a female was harassing him while he was cleaning off his car. She accused him of being addicted to drugs and of borrowing people’s cars to sell drugs. Caller is sober. Caller states she accused him again today and indicated she would be calling the police.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

9:02 a.m. — Police arrested Carl Gouin, 35, homeless, on a warrant after locating him at the gas station on Third Street.

10:36 p.m. — Caller from Second Street reports he found a male in his basement looking for a pair of pliers to fix his truck that broke down near the Shea Theater Arts Center. When the caller said he was calling the police, the individual took off toward his truck.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

4:04 p.m. — Caller from Randall Wood Drive states his daughter has been getting phone calls from a female who asks for “Rachel.” Neither the caller nor his daughter know anyone by that name. When he called the number and asked her to stop calling his daughter, she denied calling them. Caller wanted this on file.

10:01 p.m. — Jamie Lee Anadon, 38, of Garfield Street in Greenfield, was transported from Town Hall by American Medical Response on a warrant after medical services were requested for a psychological evaluation.

Thursday, Jan. 26

4:35 a.m. — Caller from Turnpike Road reports a male party took more than $2,000 from her over the past few days. She advised that a credit card was shipped to her address in Gill and she feared that the male party might use it. Redirected to the Gill Police Department.

4:27 p.m. — Caller from Fourth Street states she received a scam call from TD Bank. She reported being called names and said her bank information was stolen. The name of the scam caller was James Rogers and he called from 817-890-7217.

Friday, Jan. 27

5:50 p.m. — Caller from Keith Apartments on Canal Street states she was cooking dinner and a piece of plastic caught on fire in the house. Call was transferred to Shelburne Control.

5:53 p.m. — Caller reports a two-vehicle accident south of the Route 47 intersection on Federal Street. No injuries or fluids on the road. Rau’s Sunoco Service towed both vehicles.

Saturday, Jan. 28

4:19 p.m. — Caller from the Shady Glen diner on Avenue A reports a young man and woman arguing. The man had been following her since the Post Office. Police spoke with another man, not matching the individual’s description, who said he didn’t see or hear anyone arguing.

8:18 p.m. — Caller from Unity Street advises her boyfriend is intoxicated and will not stop screaming. She requests officers to tell him to be quiet.

Sunday, Jan. 29

1:20 a.m. — Caller in the area of 11 to 18 Fourth St. reports a lot of loud music. Quiet on arrival.

Monday, Jan. 30

11:03 a.m. — Walk-in from Demers Lane reports fraud.

6:04 p.m. — Walk-in from Park Villa Road requests to speak with an officer about an unwanted person coming into his house.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

6:17 a.m. — Caller from N Street reports a whining dog outside in the cold. Police spoke to the homeowner, who advised her son took the dog out before he left in the morning. Dog was brought back inside.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

11:38 a.m. — Caller from Fourth Street states her boyfriend went outside to sit on the back porch the previous night at around 10:30 p.m. and when she went out to check on him a few minutes later, he was gone. His cellphone appeared to be dead, he had no vehicle and nobody had seen him. Caller later called back to say he was home and seemed alright.

11:47 p.m. — A crisis worker reports being on the phone with a female who advised a male was knocking on the door in an attempt to assault her. Female party requested an ambulance. A second caller said his girlfriend may have left respite in Greenfield and may be around or inside the neighbor’s house. Police were sent and Turners Falls and Montague Center fire departments responded for medical issues.

Thursday, Feb. 2

11:04 a.m. — Employee from Food City on Avenue A reports a male customer who is suspected to be high and is wandering around the store.

5:13 p.m. — Caller from L Street reports a heavy chemical smell in the building. Caller was advised to go outside with their newborn baby. Call relayed to Shelburne Control.

Friday, Feb. 3

11:03 a.m. — Caller from Davis Street reports two people who are known to her are attempting to get into her house and she does not want them on the property. A female was brought to court for a restraining order.

11:13 p.m. — Caller from Hillside Road states she thought someone broke into her house. She was unsure if anything was stolen because the house was dark. Not as reported.

Saturday, Feb. 4

3:11 p.m. — Caller from the gas station on Third Street reports being sold gas with water in it. Gas station attendant reportedly took off with her boyfriend after refusing to get the manager. Caller then argued with the manager. Caller declined to give his name and hung up. Another caller then said a male party stole her purse, two cartons of cigarettes and everything she had during this disturbance. Police spoke to the male, who returned the belongings. Police then spoke with an employee, who presented a receipt that showed the gas was 0% water.

8:34 p.m. — Caller from Wendell Road reports his grandson drove off the road and into a ditch. No injuries. Rau’s Sunoco Service got the car out of the ditch and the driver was able to drive it home.

Sunday, Feb. 5

4:17 p.m. — Caller from Third Street reports a kid in a black hoodie is vandalizing a sign. Police found a tagged sign and saw a person matching the description while on the way to another call.

11:26 p.m. — Westfield Police Department requesting assistance. A vehicle owned by a Turners Falls resident was involved in a hit-and-run earlier. Police kept an eye out.

Monday, Feb. 6

12:02 p.m. — Caller from Greenfield Road reports an injured dog on the side of the road. Animal control was called, but then the caller called back and said the owner picked up the dog.

12:47 p.m. — Caller from Edward Avenue reports an unwanted female in his house. After the two had a verbal argument, police transported the caller to the courthouse to get a court order.

Monday, Feb. 7

3:04 p.m. — Caller from East Main Street reports his landlord is recording him. He had noticed it multiple times and felt unsafe.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

7:50 a.m. — Caller from North Leverett Road reports sliding off the road and hitting a utility pole, damaging the vehicle. No injuries. AAA sent a tow truck.

Thursday, Feb. 9

7:01 p.m. — Walk-in requesting a police escort to deal with tenant issues, as she has been receiving threats.

Friday, Feb. 10

1:18 a.m. — Caller from Between the Uprights on Avenue A reports hearing arguing a few minutes ago before going outside and seeing broken glass and blood. Police found no broken glass and observed that the blood was actually strawberry jam.

Saturday, Feb. 11

11:50 a.m. — Caller from the bike path near the Turners Falls-Gill Bridge reporting offensive vandalism.

1:56 p.m. — Walk-in reports receiving violent texts from an unknown phone number.
