Monday, Jan. 22

2:10 p.m. — Tractor trailer with an oversized load needs help backing up and finding a new route. Officer to help guide the driver through Millers Falls.

4:15 p.m. — Caller reports he just arrived home on Montague City Road and can hear someone upstairs, believes there is someone in the house. Officers spoke to the third-floor residents who stated their dogs have been home during the day.

Tuesday, Jan. 23

2:17 p.m. — Walk-in reports his ex-girlfriend and her family members are texting him with threats and harassing him. He also needs help getting his property back from the residence on Avenue C.

5:20 p.m. — Alarm company reporting security alarm activated at Greenfield Savings Bank on Avenue A. Officer spoke with the manager, everything all set.

Wednesday, Jan. 24

8:09 p.m. — Caller states his daughter’s cellphone was stolen while at Ja’Duke. That was the last location ping of the phone before it was shut off. The cellphone is a Google Pixel with a green case. Caller will call back if he is able to get an updated location.

11:06 p.m. — Reporting party from Mormon Hollow Road states there is a generator running and has been for about a week. Officer checked the area. Generator barely heard from the roadway, appears they are having a power issue with only a light or two on.

Thursday, Jan. 25

11:28 a.m. — Caller from Goddard Avenue reports there are tire tracks on her front yard, like someone purposely drove on the lawn and did some damage. Tire damage appears to be from someone turning around on the lawn, possibly from missing the corner or sliding due to ice/snow.

11:33 a.m. — Caller reports there has been a black truck parked in front on his home on Fourth Street that has been blocking the sidewalk for over a week. He has a disability and can’t get past the truck. Vehicle found to be parked legally.

1:16 p.m. — Employee from the Nouria gas station on Third Street reports that two customers are outside yelling at each other creating a disturbance. Verbal disagreement, parties moved along.

7:28 p.m. — Caller from Keith Apartments on Canal Street reports her neighbor has been in the hallway screaming and kicking doors. Officer spoke with the involved party who calmed down and will stop banging on the walls.

Friday, Jan. 26

2:29 p.m. — Caller from Park Street states he was scammed on Facebook Marketplace. He spoke to his bank, which advised him to speak with the police department. He is out $900.

Saturday, Jan. 27

6:50 a.m. — Caller reports a Ford Explorer in the parking lot on Fourth Street has homeless individuals inside. Caller believes they may be doing drugs. Officer spoke to the individuals who advised they are homeless and are waiting for an apartment. No drugs or paraphernalia seen.

10:10 a.m. — Caller advises he will be in town knocking on doors in regards to selling solar for a company by the name of “Trinity.” He was advised he needs to get a soliciting and canvassing permit and needs a sign-off from the chief before he can solicit.

Monday, Jan. 29

2:17 p.m. — Property manager on Fourth Street reports a male party is banging on windows and doors, disturbing tenants. Individual left.

Tuesday, Jan. 30

5:00 p.m. — Joshua David Jablonicky, 42, homeless, was arrested on two warrants at Food City on Avenue A.

Wednesday, Jan. 31

12:21 a.m. — Report of a red Chevrolet Tahoe with the alarm sounding for two hours on King Avenue. Quiet upon arrival.

2:11 a.m. — Report of two males fighting on Montague Avenue. Jeffrey Lewis Taylor, 29, of Montague Avenue in Lake Pleasant, was arrested on charges of assault and battery, and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Thursday, Feb. 1

11:03 a.m. — Loose dog found on Willmark Avenue. Dog returned to owner.

8:28 p.m. — Caller at East Main Street Realty reports a package valued at $25 was stolen on Jan. 21. Building management is looking at camera footage.

Friday, Feb. 2

11:33 a.m. — Caller on Fourth Street requests to speak with an officer about illegal dumping at her rental property.

12:43 p.m. — Caller on Millers Falls Road reports she made arrangements with an involved female to pick up some laying hens. Involved female informed her she was running late, but then showed up and took the hens from the coop without paying for them. Officer advised amends were made; police assistance not required.

7:06 p.m. — Multiple calls reporting gunshots. Officer advised Greenfield was having its Winter Carnival fireworks show.

Saturday, Feb. 3

3:01 p.m. — Food City store manager reports finding drug paraphernalia in the bathroom and requests the involved male be issued a no trespass order. Items collected. Store manager advised of options.

8:07 p.m. — Disturbance reported at St. Stanislaus Society on K Street. Male party was advised to leave after finishing his beer.

Sunday, Feb. 4

5:09 p.m. — Joshua David Jablonicky, 42, homeless, was arrested on two warrants at Food City on Avenue A.

Monday, Feb. 5

5:21 p.m. — Walk-in from Burnett Street reports he has been getting statements for credit card accounts he has not opened. Fraud was reported to each of the banks.

Tuesday, Feb. 6

10:06 p.m. — Scott Stephen Panton, 59, of Lake Pleasant Road in Lake Pleasant, was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday, Feb. 8

10:35 a.m. — Walk-in from Main Street reports he believes a female friend came into his house this morning following a disagreement and stole a large sum of cash. Officer checking the area for cameras.

Friday, Feb. 9

8:16 a.m. — FirstLight Hydro Generating Co. requesting police assistance with what appears to be a homeless encampment on Power Street.

1:15 p.m. — Walk-in from the Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) building on Sandy Lane reports a threat made by an employee.

3:14 p.m. — Fight reported between an adult and a juvenile at Aubuchon Hardware on Avenue A. Knife seen. Jason B. Griswold, 40, of K Street in Turners Falls, was arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, a civil rights violation, and assault and battery on a police officer.

Saturday, Feb. 10

1:33 a.m. — Caller reports seeing a campfire near Hannegan Brook that leads to Lake Pleasant. Found to be people on shore with flashlights.

5:03 p.m. — Caller at Fourth and L streets states there are five teenagers beating up another teenager. Nothing found in the area. Officer reported seeing up to 10 teenagers in Unity Park who appeared happy and uninjured.

Sunday, Feb. 11

11:28 a.m. — Caller reports racial slurs have been written on a sign on the White Bridge. Officer advises someone wrote over a COVID-19 advisory sign. Department of Public Works to dispose of the sign.
