Monday, Feb. 26

1:05 p.m. — Russell Potter, 42, of Fourth Street in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant.

4:44 p.m. — Caller on Federal Street states he feels the driver in the car behind him wants him to pull over because he is driving too slow, but he doesn’t feel comfortable because he believes the driver has been following him trying to “kill or beat” him. Caller also states there are five other drivers behind him who have honked their horns due to his speed. Officer advised. Reporting party states the car that was following him pulled off onto another road and he no longer needs help.

7:57 p.m. — Caller on G Street reports there are people rummaging through the second-floor apartment that was subject to a fire earlier in the month. Officer checked the area but found no one in the building.

Tuesday, Feb. 27

11:13 a.m. — Reporting party would like in on record that a female came into Connecticut River Liquor and Wine on Avenue A, pointed at her and made a “gun” with her fingers, then walked away. Services rendered.

1:30 p.m. — Employee from Cumberland Farms on Montague City Road states a female just stole some merchandise. No trespass order sought. Officers located the involved female at her residence, but she refused to speak with them.

Wednesday, Feb. 28

8:22 p.m. — Caller from Third Street reports her downstairs neighbor closed his door too loudly.

Thursday, Feb. 29

1:29-7:29 a.m. — Multiple calls around town involving trees down on wires and trees down in roadways causing traffic hazards.

9:08 a.m. — Caller from Oakman Street would like it on record that last night, along with many other nights recently, her neighbor was playing music so loud at 3 a.m. that she couldn’t sleep. She has asked them to stop, but they continue to do it. Involved male was advised of the complaint.

Friday, March 1

2:25 a.m. — Reporting party from Power Town Apartments on Avenue A states there is a woman in the hallway making a lot of noise and rambling. Gone upon officer’s arrival.

4:15 p.m. — Walk-in to the station asks to speak with an officer about an assault that occurred at Turners Falls High School. Reporting party was advised of her options, told to follow up with the school resource officer.

Saturday, March 2

1:45 a.m. — Caller from East Main Street states her son is yelling and punching the walls inside her house. Reporting party states her son has been drinking tonight to celebrate his birthday. Situation was resolved prior to officer’s arrival. Both parties going to bed for the night.

7:31 a.m. — Multiple calls reporting a dumpster fire in a parking lot on Fourth Street. West end of Fourth Street shut down for emergency response.

11:40 a.m. — Reporting party on Avenue A has been receiving calls that her daughter is throwing items from her apartment out into the hallway. Involved female has an active warrant. Heidi N. Gibson, 39, of Avenue A in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant.

Sunday, March 3

10:02 a.m. — James Donald Larson, 40, of Turners Falls Road in Montague Center, was arrested on two warrants.

8:47 p.m. — Caller states the driver of a blue sedan tried running her off the road while she was driving in The Patch neighborhood. Caller was unsure the vehicle’s direction of travel.
