Monday, Dec. 18

6:20 a.m. — Caller at Turners Falls Road and Hatchery Road reports a tree down across the roadway. No wires were involved. Caller states it is a hazard.

7:24 p.m. — Caller from Wentworth Avenue stated he has received five calls from a toll-free number regarding fraud. He thought this seemed suspicious and wanted it on record.

Tuesday, Dec. 19

10:29 a.m. — Juan Vazquez, 48, of Avenue A in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant.

5:06 p.m. — Caller reports smelling gas in the area of Third Street and Avenue A near Montague Catholic Social Ministries.

5:08 p.m. — Injured deer in the road in the vicinity of Randall Road and Turners Falls Road. Officer checked the area, found no sign of a deer. Passerby took the deer. Driver that struck the deer went to station to file a report.

6:25 p.m. — Donna Marie Rose, 37, of Green Pond Road in Millers Falls, was arrested on a warrant after a foot pursuit by officers in the woods.

Wednesday, Dec. 20

9:49 a.m. — Caller expresses concern about the sidewalk at K Street and Ninth Street being blocked by a resident with various pieces of equipment. Property owner was advised of the complaint and was given options to remove the items so the sidewalk would be clear.

1:38 p.m. — Nicholas D. Pratt, 28, of N Street in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant near the bike path.

1:09 p.m. — Officers located a woman with an active warrant on Mormon Hollow Road. Judy Lowry, 41, of Farren Avenue in Turners Falls, was arrested.

6:02 p.m. — Caller from Millers Falls Road states he had a package delivered three or four days ago and he believes it was stolen. There are no cameras in the area and he does not know who took it. The package contained meats and cheeses. Caller would just like the incident on record.

Friday, Dec. 22

12:19 p.m. — Caller states there is an alarm sounding at the Verizon substation building on Crescent Street and it is bothering the neighborhood. Property manager said the alarm is being worked on and should be fixed soon.

4:58 p.m. — 911 abandoned call pinging off a cell tower on Turnpike Road. Upon callback, male party states a mass group is planning an attack on MGM studios this weekend and police need to be sent there. Male party then hung up. Officers were advised.

7:24 p.m. — Caller states there is a green van on J Street with its driver’s side door open causing a safety hazard. Officers were advised. Vehicle gone on arrival.

Saturday, Dec. 23

4:10 p.m. — Caller in the area of Center and South streets states there is rapid shooting in the area that is too close to the road and neighborhood. Officers were advised.

Monday, Dec. 25

12:50 p.m. — Caller from Bridge Street in Millers Falls reports the downstairs neighbor his banging on the walls and yelling he is going to kill everyone. Officers were advised. Male party is in the process of being evicted from the building. Quiet upon arrival, no answer at the door.
