7:46 p.m. — Caller from N Street reports three dogs are standing on the roof.
4:20 p.m. — Caller from Marshall Street reports hearing a loud explosion, then the power went out. Eversource responded.
8:10 p.m. — Caller from 12th Street states she fired someone and he has since started harassing her mother.
11:21 a.m. — Caller near the fish ladder reports a one-legged goose is by the picnic tables. Police advised animal control, who said this happened last year and that the goose is fine.
5:02 p.m. — Caller from Crescent Street reports seeing a large razorback snake near the riverbank.
12:37 a.m. — Caller from Lake Pleasant Road reports a male party assaulted her grandmother and cousin. Erving Police were dispatched to remove the man because Montague Police were tied up on another call.
5:59 p.m. — Caller from Union Avenue reports a small black-and-white pug is loose in the area with no tags. Owner was found, pug was returned.
6:08 p.m. — Caller from Power Town Apartments reports smoke is coming from Apartment 1. Police advised the restaurant next door was smoking a bit.
9:05 p.m. — Caller from G Street reports a transformer blew and caught fire.
11:22 p.m. — Caller reports her son’s friend reached out to her to advise that her son is under the General Pierce Bridge possibly being bullied by another individual. Police located the individuals. One or two individuals may have ran into the woods, but anyone in need of a ride was offered one.
11:34 a.m. — Caller from Montague City Road reports a bunch of people wearing masks are attempting to break into an apartment and vandalize the property. Upon investigation, there was no active disturbance and no weapons were seen, but a window was broken after something was thrown at it. Police went to a new location to try to identify suspects.
6:22 p.m. — Caller from East Taylor Hill Road reports a stove pipe is sparking and they’re putting water on it to stop fire. Family evacuated the home.
9:22 a.m. — Caller from James Avenue requests assistance making a death notice for her brother who died.
6:38 p.m. — Caller from Dorsey Road reports a large dog is barking. Dog was reunited with his owner, who was fishing.
3:26 a.m. — Caller from Keith Apartments on Canal Street reports a male party in the hallway with a big knife is attempting to get in the door. Another male was trying to get the air conditioner out and enter through the window. Caller is in the bedroom with their mother and dog. Gone upon police arrival.
3:15 p.m. — Report of a structure fire on Green Pond Road. Turners Falls Fire Department advises the fire is under control.
6:58 p.m. — Caller near the Sunderland town line on Federal Street reports seeing a dog on the side of the road. It turned out to be a beaver living in the culvert.
12:07 a.m. — Walk-in from Coolidge Avenue advises she gave out a lot of personal information to a scammer over the phone.
4:28 p.m. — Caller from the General Pierce Bridge reports a gray Jeep swerving over the middle lane is headed downtown. Police checked the area from Avenue A down and found nothing.
7:01 p.m. — Caller from Sunrise Terrace reports someone tipped over his adult tricycle. He reported it had scratches as if somebody tried dragging it away. He said the other day, he was riding on Dunton Street and saw a suspicious person walking.
8:49 p.m. — Caller from East Main Street reports a male is curled up in a fetal position on the side of the road. No one found.
8:09 a.m. — Caller from I Street reports a sick skunk near her stairs. Caller had been feeding the skunk, but ran out of food and the skunk left the area.
2:51 p.m. — Caller from Meadow Road reports a sick skunk is walking into the field.
3:43 a.m. — Caller reports a female party in the apartment next to hers is yelling, screaming and throwing things at the wall. Quiet upon police arrival.
11:13 a.m. — The housing authority reports a female set up a tent in the field next to the building at 19 Canal St. and other tenants have been complaining. Tenant told police she wanted to keep the tent up because she believed there to be micro waves going through her apartment and making her feel uncomfortable, but was told she needs permission from the property owner.
3:21 p.m. — Caller from Hillside Plastics on Millers Falls Road reports a large amount of scrap metal was stolen over the weekend.
9:55 a.m. — Caller from Turnpike Road states two men came to her home and asked if she wanted her driveway paved with leftover asphalt from a job they were doing nearby. She thought it seemed suspicious.
2:11 p.m. — Caller from Chestnut Hill Loop wants it documented that last night, between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., a car was driving back and forth in the neighborhood before pulling into her driveway. Somebody got out of the car, but left when her dogs started barking.
2:06 a.m. — Caller from Avenue A states she was getting ready to bring her friend to Greenfield when two juveniles around 14 years old asked if her name was what it is. She said she didn’t give them information and asked what they were up to. They reportedly answered that they were going to break into cars and one of them pulled out a knife. Caller said she and her friend started to drive away, but the juveniles started to hang onto the car and its windows. Police didn’t observe anyone matching the description in the area upon investigation.
11:51 p.m. — Police arrested Candace Lee Maguire, 24, of N Street in Turners Falls, who had an active warrant, after a foot pursuit along the bike path near 11th Street.
9:01 a.m. — Police assisted other agencies at the Rock Dam and Rawson Island in Greenfield.
5:56 p.m. — Caller reports a medium-size dog with spots is loose on Park Street and is potentially causing a hazard. Gone on arrival.
7:22 a.m. — Caller from Fifth Street reports his wife is keeping his medication from him, requests an officer’s help to get it back.
1:09 p.m. — Police assisted another agency with a detainment on Second Street.
6:03 p.m. — Caller from Federal Street reports she went out to her car earlier and there was a glow stick on the handle. She also got a camera notification that there was a male on her porch for 15 minutes.
9:29 p.m. — Caller near the General Pierce Bridge reports two girls are flashing people. Police found nobody in the area.
2:17 p.m. — Caller from Hillside Road states someone broke into her basement and stole her ceiling tiles. Her son and son-in-law both denied entering the house. Caller was concerned for her safety and requested that police come over. They did and found no signs of forced entry.
10:16 p.m. — Caller reports that multiple storefronts on Avenue A were tagged. Police found that Great Falls Market, Pipione’s Sport Shop, Turners Falls Pizza House, the liquor store, Black Cow Burger Bar, The Gun Rack, The Upper Bend, 60 Avenue A, Buckingham Rabbits Vintage, Swanson’s Fabrics, Salvation Army and Family Dollar had all been vandalized.
