Monday, Aug. 28

2:31 p.m. — Caller from Wentworth Avenue states that while leaving his brother’s house, he backed into a boat parked on the street. He broke his taillight, but didn’t observe any damage to the boat. He stopped at the neighbor’s house, but nobody was home.

5:55 p.m. — Caller from Fourth Street reports she had a new iPhone delivered, but by the time she got home, the package had been stolen. Her neighbor has a camera, but you can’t see who stole the package in the footage.

Tuesday, Aug. 29

5:02 p.m. — Caller from East Main Street Realty requests to speak with an officer about a person who has broken into his apartment three times and taken three items, two of which have since been returned.

Wednesday, Aug. 30

9:35 a.m. — Caller reports a two-vehicle crash with unknown injuries at the intersection of Randall Road and Turners Falls Road. Rau’s Sunoco Service was called to tow both vehicles.

2:36 p.m. — Caller from Rustic Romance on East Main Street reports a three- to four-vehicle crash where one vehicle took off, but lost its license plate at the scene. Unknown injuries.

Thursday, Aug. 31

3:47 p.m. — Caller from Avenue A reports a male party is screaming “die” in his apartment. Police made contact with the male party, who said he was upset about past events. He declined all services and was advised of complaints.

4:51 p.m. — Caller from Dell Street reports a skunk is in her shed. Police had the caller work with an animal control officer to get the skunk out of the shed.

Friday, Sept. 1

10:15 a.m. — Caller from near Scotty’s Convenience Store on High Street reports a lost dog in the area. Dog was described as a brown terrier mix. Caller later called back and said the dog was reunited with its owner.

3:18 p.m. — Caller from Brick & Feather Brewery on 11th Street reports a large snapping turtle in the parking lot. Caller was advised to reach out to Environmental Police due to the animal control officer being off duty.

Saturday, Sept. 2

1:36 p.m. — Caller from Salvation Army on Avenue A reports a two-vehicle crash with unknown injuries and fluids present. Rau’s Sunoco Service towed both vehicles. Police later learned a third unoccupied vehicle had been struck as well.

7:25 p.m. — Caller from the area of 166 Avenue A reports lots of smoke in the area with no known source.

Sunday, Sept. 3

10:51 a.m. — Caller from near Greenfield Savings Bank on Avenue A reports a man is harassing people and hitting somebody’s car window with his backpack.

3:44 p.m. — Caller at H and 10th streets reports he believes his neighbor and a male party are making a drug deal in front of the house. Police could not locate the involved vehicle.

Monday, Sept. 4

1:37 p.m. — Caller from Unity Park states she is concerned about a box she found inside a portable toilet.

5:40 p.m. — Caller from Sheffield Elementary School on Crocker Avenue reports a red Chevrolet Camaro is doing doughnuts in the parking lot and causing a lot of smoke. She then called back to report that the person was her neighbor and she just watched the car pull into the garage with flat tires. Police found tire material blown all over the parking lot. They also found there was a verbal dispute between the male party and the involved female party. Police cleaned up the debris and charged the male party with operating to endanger, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage.
