Saturday, Aug. 24

7:21 p.m. — Reporting party states a woman is sitting on the bench outside Food City on Avenue A, openly drinking beer and yelling at people. Officer advised that he made contact with the party and moved her along. Did not observe any alcohol.

Sunday, Aug. 25

10:39 a.m. — Walk-in to the station reports her 13-year-old son has been missing since Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Male was located at a friend’s house. Services rendered.

2:37 p.m. — Caller reports a man driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee waved/pointed something at him after a road rage incident. He believes it may have been a gun. Vehicle was last seen pulled over in the area of East Mineral Road. Unable to locate.

6:03 p.m. — Caller reports someone in a black SUV is driving around, in the area of Park Street, taking signs out of people’s yards. Officer advised. Unable to locate.

Monday, Aug. 26

10:23 a.m. — Caller states he walks his dog in Wendell three to four days a week and when he’s driving on Wendell Road, there are speeding vehicles and drivers with road rage. Caller feels the area needs to be monitored better in the early morning. Reporting it happens in both Wendell and Millers Falls. Referred to an officer.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

9:02 a.m. — Manager at Cumberland Farms on Montague City Road requesting a male party be moved along. Individual is panhandling and scaring customers on their way into the store. Referred to an officer. Officer advises the male party is gathering his belongings and moving along.

1:40 p.m. — Caller reports a juvenile’s bicycle was taken from outside The Brick House Community Resource Center on Third Street. Bright orange bicycle with a black and white checkered seat and white tires. Witnesses report seeing an individual get on the bike and take off toward the Nouria gas station. Bike recovered on Fifth Street.

7:53 p.m. — Report of approximately eight youths smoking marijuana next to the swings where kids are playing at Unity Park. Group then moved closer to the basketball court. Officer advised.

8:36 p.m. — Caller states she had an Amazon package stolen from her property on Third Street. Advised of options.

8:49 p.m. — Caller states someone backed into her car at Millers Pub on East Main Street and the vehicle took off. Bar employee states she was told someone was outside speaking with a male party and watched him get into a brown pickup truck before backing into the caller’s vehicle and leaving the scene. Report taken.

Thursday, Aug. 29

8:28 a.m. — Reporting party states she was threatened by two men on the FRTA bus this morning. The two men got off on Avenue A. One of the men allegedly told her “you better watch your back” and then made a gun gesture with his hand. Bus driver gave a description of the men and there is video footage available. Officer advises he believes he already knows who the two men are and will follow up with them.

5:30 p.m. — Reporting party states his e-bike was stolen from Sadie’s Bikes on Canal Street. Lime green e-bike with wide tires. Report taken.

Friday, Aug. 30

10:01 a.m. — Reporting party from Third Street is concerned about a male party who was walking behind the Cutlery Block looking into vehicles. The male party reportedly walked by her car five times and walked away when she came out. Unable to locate.

10:27 a.m. — Walk-in to the station reports the rear windshield wiper was torn off his rental vehicle overnight. Same happened to his neighbor’s vehicle on Third Street. He would like the incident on record. Referred to an officer.

3:07 p.m. — Caller reports an erratic operator driving through Deerfield, Sunderland and now Montague via Route 47. Vehicle has almost caused multiple collisions. Unable to locate.

Saturday, Aug. 31

11:37 a.m. — Caller on Fairway Avenue states a car with Texas plates has been parked near the corner for about an hour with people in it. Reporting party could hear them say they are waiting for a girl with an electric bike to show up, states the same girl met two other cars there yesterday as well. Area checked, nothing found.

10:09 p.m. — Reporting party on Millers Falls Road states the music from RPM Fest is too loud and is disturbing her. Caller was advised the festival is going on until 11 p.m., was approved by the town and has permits in place.

Sunday, Sept. 1

6:35 a.m. — Caller reports she saw a girl pull up on an electric bicycle and start assaulting another female on the corner of Avenue A and Third Street. Parties have separated. Female on the bike was wearing green pants and a pink hat. Area checked, no one matching the description in the area.

2:51 p.m. — Reporting party states there is overgrown brush in the area of Route 63 and Swamp Road that needs to be trimmed. She would like the line to be repainted 5 feet closer to the intersection so it causes less of a hazard when trying to pull out onto Route 63. Reporting party states she already called the Department of Public Works about this and wants it on record.

4:15 p.m. — Reporting party states there is a shirtless man yelling and attacking people in the Family Dollar parking lot. Man left on foot down Avenue A. Corey M. Tetreault, 33, of Barney Hale Road in Gill, was arrested on a warrant. Bail set at $2,500, plus fee.

8:32 p.m. — Caller on First Street states there are roughly 15 people being loud down by the river. Reporting party states two of the individuals showed him they have guns. Officer advises the group is having a birthday party for some young kids.

Monday, Sept. 2

4:27 p.m. — Reporting party calling about the Dumpster on The Country Creemee’s property on Avenue A. Caller states a skunk got its head stuck in the drainage pipe at the base of the Dumpster. Call placed to the animal control officer, message left. Caller was advised he could notify the business in case they contract a service to deal with animal issues. Caller can try to reach the animal control officer again if the skunk is still there in the morning.
