Summer Camp Registration: From Monday, June 24, through Friday, Aug. 16, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Theme weeks, field trips, special events and trips to Laurel Lake.

Skateboarding Lessons: For 6- to 9-year-olds, and ages 10 and up. Monday and Wednesday evenings, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., June 24 through July 17. Unity Skate Park, 56 1st St., Turners Falls. Montague residents $40, non-residents $45. Learn how to skateboard or sharpen your skills. Age groups may be combined if enrollment dictates.

Night Skate: Unity Skate Park, 56 1st St., Turners Falls. Friday (National Go Skateboarding Day), 6 to 10 p.m. The skate park will be illuminated by light towers. We would like to thank members of the Friends of Unity Skate Park, RiverCulture and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for making night skates possible. Refreshments will be provided with proceeds benefiting the skate park.

Movies in the Park: Peskeomskut Park, Avenue A, Turners Falls. On Friday, June 28, screening “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.” Live music will be provided before movies. Bring a blanket or folding chair. Show times are at dusk. Refreshments will be provided, while supplies last. Offered by the Montague Parks & Recreation Department through a partnership with RiverCulture and The Friends of Sheffield Elementary School.
