Library offering button-making workshop

ERVING — Residents are invited to try the Erving Public Library’s button-maker on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Pin back and magnet back options will be available. Attendees can bring their own picture to make into a button or use supplies in the makerspace. No RSVP is needed and drop-ins are welcome.

The event is made possible by the Friends of the Erving Public Library and is co-sponsored by the Erving Senior & Community Center.

Feb. 23: Book Club Coffee Hour

ERVING — Residents are invited to take on the 2023 Massachusetts Center for the Book Reading Challenge during the Erving Public Library’s Book Club Coffee Hour on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 5:30 p.m.

Each month has a specific challenge. February’s challenge involves reading “a book set in your hometown/city or state.” There will be refreshments and discussion. No RSVP is needed and drop-ins are welcome.

Church serving pork supper

MONTAGUE CENTER — The First Congregational Church of Montague will serve a roast pork supper on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 5:30 p.m.

For $15 ($17 for takeout), those interested can get a meal of roast pork with gravy, spiced apples, roasted potatoes, butternut squash, bread and carrot cake. Reservations can be made by calling 413-367-2652 by Thursday, Feb. 23.
