Wedding: Zraunig-Toia

Alicia Hart Zraunig and Eric Matthew Toia of Hadley were joined in marriage on Oct. 28, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenfield. Deacon  John Leary performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Leslie Zraunig of Greenfield. The groom is the son of Frank and Mona Toia of Millstone Township, N.J.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Lectors/readers were Kyle Rodri, cousin of the bride, and Vivian Manning, godmother of the groom. Stephen Glover was the church organist.

Terra Cadran, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Leah Zraunig and Emily Zraunig, sisters of the bride, Hannah Eisenstein and Anna Stafford, friends of the bride. Kacie Cadran was flower girl.

Brian Toia, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Nicholas Rowe, Ryan Russell, Sean Russell and Sean Gould, friends of the groom.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from Westfield State University. She is a paramedic for South County EMS and also works per diem for Pioneer Valley EMS and MedCare Health Ambulance.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in resource economics from UMass Amherst and a master’s degree in public administration from Anna Maria College. He is a firefighter/paramedic for the city of Northampton Fire and Rescue. He also works per diem for Southampton Fire and EMS.

The bride will go by the name Alicia Toia.
