On Wednesday, speaking from the White House, President Joe Biden said “Make no mistake: Today’s vote is going to be long remembered, and history is going to judge harshly those who turned their backs on freedom’s cause. And now they’re (Republicans) willing to literally kneecap Ukraine on the battlefield and damage our national security in the process.”

When did the Republican Party go soft on communism, and dictators? When did it go soft on Vladimir Putin, who is known to kill his enemies and invade foreign soil? When did it turn a blind eye to the cause of freedom in the world, as the greatest generation did not back when America was truly great, despite the heavy cost. They knew you had to stop someone like him, and completely.

When did that all change? When Donald Trump said, “Putin’s not a bad guy, and he’s smart.”

Meanwhile, the bread basket of Europe falls into Putin’s hands, as he blows a hole in his western wall and winds up on Poland’s back door. Yes, he is smart.
