BERNARDSTON — The Bernardston Kiwanis Club is hosting its annual Senior Dinner on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

The event will be held at Kiwanis Park, 835 Brattleboro Road. There will be a shuttle to take seniors from the Senior Center in town to the park for those in need of a ride.

Kiwanis Club member Dan Devine said the event is free, and anyone is invited.

“This event is to give back to the community,” Devine said. “It’s a nice thing for the people in town who have lived here their whole lives. You want to remember that they made this town what it is.”

The club will serve baked ham, potato salad and coleslaw, as well as beverages and dessert. The afternoon will kick off with a cheese and cracker social hour at 5 p.m., followed by the main course at 6 p.m. An organist will also be at the park playing classical, period music.
