DEERFIELD — Police rerouted traffic through local roads after a dump truck took down power lines on Interstate 91 south Tuesday afternoon.

No one was hurt. State police said the dump body was up too high and clipped a wire.

Both lanes were closed at Exit 25 for about an hour until Eversource crews could clear the southbound lane and restore power.

Traffic was detoured down Routes 5 and 10, re-entering at Exit 24 in Whately. Deerfield Police Department was called to help out.
