GREENFIELD — Naturopathic physician Nitya Jess Eisenheim will share her approach to healing from Lyme disease naturally during a talk on Tuesday.

The talk will be held at Blue Dragon Apothecary, 158 Main St., Unit 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

“Lyme disease doesn’t have to be a death sentence, and there are things you can do to recover,” a press release from Eisenheim reads. “Lyme disease is common in our area, and often people are misdiagnosed and do not receive proper treatment for months at a time. Learn why natural medicines are your first line of defense against Lyme disease.”

Topics to be discussed include warning signs of Lyme disease, why someone may still be sick even though their lab tests come back normal and they’ve taken antibiotics, and Eisenheim’s nine-step approach to Lyme recovery, the release states.

Eisenheim, who graduated from Bastyr University, grew up in New York City going to conventional doctors. She incorporates multiple modalities such as customized herbal medicine, visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy into client’s care.
