Greenfield driver facing 6th OUI charge

GREENFIELD — A traffic stop just midnight Tuesday has Robert W. Wasielewski, 57, of Harris Court facing a charge of operating under the influence of liquor, his sixth offense.

Greenfield Police on its Facebook page say, Wasielewski drove through a stop sign at Grove and Conway streets, at about 12:14 a.m. He was pulled over by a Greenfield officer and was soon charged for driving under the influence. Wasielewski was placed at the Franklin County House of Correction on $1,000 bail, until his arraignment. 

He was also charged with failure to stop at a stop sign and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
